Soccer Recap: El Primero Comes Up Short

El Primero's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of The Nueva School Mavericks by a score of 1-0. The Lobos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for El Primero and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for The Nueva School, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

El Primero has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Monte Vista Christian on the 21st. As for The Nueva School, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on the 18th.
