Volleyball Recap: Sacramento Adventist Takes a Loss

Sacramento Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sacramento Adventist took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11, 25-18.

Gwen Rosich paced Sacramento Adventist's offense, picking up three kills. Rosich really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sacramento Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

Sacramento Adventist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sacramento Country Day on the 21st. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills on the 21st.
