With a playoff win on the line, Lisle rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bogan Bengals an 8-0 shutout. Lisle might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Bogan from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sebastian Kowal led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Lisle has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six contests. As for Bogan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Lisle will be playing in front of their home fans against Universal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bogan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
