Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lago Vista on Friday, Mount Vernon came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Chapel Hill Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Chapel Hill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Coming up, Mount Vernon will host New Summerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chapel Hill, they will take on North Lamar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
