Volleyball Recap: Saugus Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Saugus came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the San Dimas Saints. That's more bragging rights for the Centurions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kimora Hogains paced Saugus' offense, picking up 13 kills. Hogains got some help from Chasiah Omoregie and her 22 assists. Omoregie also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Taylor Stires, racking up two apiece.

Saugus' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for San Dimas, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Saugus has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Golden Valley on the 16th. San Dimas has also already played their next game (against Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
