Soccer Recap: Unity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Unity Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against the Peotone Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Unity Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 457th, while Peotone are ranked 186th).

Unity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-2. As for Peotone, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5-1.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Yorkville Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Peotone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
