Softball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hobbton last Tuesday, Lakewood came back down to earth. The Leopards came up short against the Rosewood Eagles on Tuesday, falling 20-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Leopards in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Rosewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Lakewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 24-4 win against Union on the 3rd. As for Rosewood, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-4 victory against Hobbton on the 3rd.
