Volleyball Recap: Salt Lake Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Salt Lake Academy entered their tilt with Rockwell on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marshals. That's more bragging rights for the Griffins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Salt Lake Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-9.

Isis Mosquera paced Salt Lake Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Mosquera got some help from Mercedes Mendez and her 20 assists. Ammie Matos Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

The win got Salt Lake Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Rockwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Salt Lake Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Merit Preparatory Academy on the 18th. As for Rockwell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wasatch Academy on the 18th.
