Basketball Recap: Central's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down the Vilonia Eagles 69-53. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Eagles are ranked 17th).

Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Vilonia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Central will host Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central is facing Parkview at the right time seeing as Parkview is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Vilonia, they will venture away from home to take on Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
