Baseball Recap: Orangeburg-Wilkinson Comes Up Short

Orangeburg-Wilkinson fell victim to Hanahan and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 10-0. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Glover, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Glover is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hanahan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4-1.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Hanahan, they will square off against Dobyns-Bennett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
