Baseball Recap: Cheltenham Comes Up Short

Cheltenham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Upper Moreland Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Tuesday.

Emile Chanoine was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Jack Haugen was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Cheltenham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Upper Moreland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

While Cheltenham had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
