Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonogh). They came out on top against the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers by a score of 55-46 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

McDonogh's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Archbishop Spalding, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonogh and St. Frances Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. St. Frances Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something McDonogh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archbishop Spalding, they will take on Mercy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
