Flag Football Recap: Monterey Takes a Loss

Monterey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 27-13 to the Salinas Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Dores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Cowboys are ranked 132nd).

Monterey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Salinas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8.

Monterey has already played their next game (against Hollister), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Salinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
