Hagerman took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-21 victory over Watersprings. The Pirates not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 22, 2024 (when they won 47-15).

Hagerman found their leader in sophomore Kaitynn Kendall, who went 8-for-16 on her way to 20 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Addi Chizum, who posted six points along with seven steals and five rebounds.

Hagerman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Hagerman has already played their next game, a 59-21 defeat against Oakley on the 18th. As for Watersprings, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-29 win against Alturas Prep on the 18th.
