Softball Recap: Ford Takes a Loss

Ford made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Renaissance, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trojans fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 8-6 on Monday. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Phoenix when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Renaissance has already played their next game (against Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ford will be paying especially close attention to the Phoenix's contest: after the Phoenix face off against the Mustangs, they'll take on Ford again at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
