Baseball Recap: Bob Hope Comes Up Short

Bob Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-7 to Non Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Non Varsity Opponent this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-1 loss last Monday.

Brian Ford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Oswaldo Barajas, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Bob Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Coming up, Bob Hope will take on Legacy Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
