Basketball Game Preview: Niles Notre Dame Dons vs. Niles West Wolves

Niles Notre Dame is on a three-game streak of home losses, Niles West a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Niles Notre Dame Dons will welcome the Niles West Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Niles Notre Dame lost 52-31 to Benet Academy on Friday. The contest marked the Dons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Niles West came up short against Highland Park on Friday, falling 60-38. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Giants are ranked 120th).

Niles Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Niles West, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.
