Baseball Recap: Seabreeze Has No Trouble Against Wesley Chapel

Seabreeze extended their postseason success on Thursday against Wesley Chapel. They blew past the Wildcats 10-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Sandcrabs needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The result came thanks to Brody Harris's shutout, as he gave up just five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Wrigley Zweifel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Deising, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Seabreeze always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wesley Chapel only posted an OBP of .333.

Seabreeze is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Wesley Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Seabreeze will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
