Soccer Recap: Larkin Takes a Loss

Larkin and South Elgin squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Larkin had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 4-3. The loss continues a trend for Larkin in their meetings with South Elgin: they've now lost three in a row.

Larkin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-3. As for South Elgin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season.

Larkin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Elgin, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Bartlett at 6:30 p.m.
