Basketball Game Preview: Fitchburg Red Raiders vs. Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles

The Fitchburg Red Raiders and the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row dating back to last season, Fitchburg turned things around against St. Paul on Monday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 64-41 victory. The Red Raiders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Advanced Math & Science Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They snuck past Abby Kelley Foster with a 47-43 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Advanced Math & Science Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Fitchburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
