Nate Davis Delivers Best Effort of Season
Nate Davis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Rockmart to the win on Friday. Davis rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
The win was the fifth in a row for Rockmart, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Davis and Rockmart have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

North Murray Gets a Boost from Hulett in 27-26 Victory
North Murray found a leader in Hudson Hulett as the squad took down Ringgold on Friday. Hulett was dynamite, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 122 yards on only ten passes.
On the season, Hulett has averaged 70.6 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 8.43 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Tyler Douglas Leads Coahulla Creek over Murray County
Coahulla Creek was led to victory by Tyler Douglas, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Douglas rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Coahulla Creek moved to 1-6 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Douglas and Coahulla Creek will square off against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
