Softball Recap: Bonita Has No Trouble Against Diamond Bar

While Bonita put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Diamond Bar. Bonita put the hurt on Diamond Bar with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bearcats have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Koa Puppe, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Skyy Hicks was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Bonita's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Diamond Bar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Bonita has already played their next game, an 11-4 victory against Claremont on the 25th. As for Diamond Bar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against Warren on the 22nd.
