Basketball Recap: Environmental Charter Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Environmental Charter's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Trinity Christian on Wednesday. The Hawks managed a 63-57 victory over the Cornell Raiders. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Among those leading the charge was Caleb Dalton, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jeydan Morant, who put up nine points.

Environmental Charter's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Cornell, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Environmental Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-43 loss against St. Joseph on the 23rd. Cornell has also already played their next contest (against Beaver County Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
