Millikan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jordan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Millikan's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Jordan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Jordan will be up against a hot Millikan team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Rams were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Cerritos on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Daunte Bell tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Millikan got a big performance out of Andrew Perez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, Perez posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Noa Morales was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Jordan came up short against Long Beach Poly on Tuesday and fell 9-5.

Jordan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oswald Martinez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Martinez is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 4-8-1 when he doesn't). Another was Talin Velazquez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Millikan's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jordan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season.

Everything went Millikan's way against Jordan in their previous meeting back in March, as Millikan made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
