Volleyball Recap: Madison-Ridgeland Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against West Memphis Christian last Thursday, Madison-Ridgeland Academy came back down to earth. The Patriots fell just short of the Ocean Springs Greyhounds by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madison-Ridgeland Academy fell to 4-1. As for Ocean Springs, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Madison-Ridgeland Academy will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ocean Springs, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Presbyterian Christian on the 5th.
