Baseball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

The Lamar Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Cossatot River Eagles on Friday and fell 8-7.

Lamar got a big performance out of Zaxton Aldridge, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Humphrey, who earned one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Cossatot River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Lamar will be playing in front of their home fans against Atkins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cossatot River, they are taking a road trip to face off against Acorn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
