Seth Hernandez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Hernandez's strong effort led Corona over Norco and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
