Recap: Providence Catholic Provets vs. St. Joseph Flyers

Providence Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kimberly Juarez, who scored three points along with seven steals and six rebounds, and Isabella Otero who scored three points. Juarez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
Providence Catholic was without their leading scorer, Kalysta Martin, in Tuesday's game. With Martin sitting this one out, Cheyenne Laconte got some extra time on the court (11 vs. her season average of 4.93).
Providence Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 17 of their last 20 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 23-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Catholic will challenge St. Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Providence Catholic is coming into the matchup with five straight defeats on the road, meaning St. Anthony will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for St. Joseph, they will face off against San Antonio Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
