Soccer Game Preview: Hanna vs. Los Fresnos

Hanna hasn't had much luck against Los Fresnos recently, but that could start to change on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Hanna challenge Los Fresnos at 5:30 p.m.

Hanna is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Friday. They lost 4-1 to Harlingen. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Fresnos). Everything went their way against Harlingen on Tuesday as Los Fresnos made off with a 7-2 win. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Their offense was hitting Harlingen from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Los Fresnos pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six contests. As for Hanna, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Hanna might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Los Fresnos in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Hanna avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
