Football Recap: Elkins Comes Up Short

Elkins's last matchup with North Marion could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Tigers took a blow against the Huskies, falling 41-13. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Elkins' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for North Marion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Elkins will challenge rival Fairmont Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Logan Beam and Tarran Boda. Meanwhile, North Marion is set to square off against their familiar foe Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
