Softball Recap: Pine City Takes a Loss

Pine City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 5-0 to the Ogilvie Lions. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pine City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ogilvie, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3.

Pine City has already played their next matchup (against Braham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ogilvie also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Crosby-Ironton.
