Football Recap: Colonial Heights Colonials vs. Hopewell Blue Devils
A victory for Colonial Heights just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were dealt a 49-13 defeat at the hands of the Hopewell Blue Devils. The Colonials were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
It was another big night for Cam Hunt, who rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry for Hopewell. The team also got some help courtesy of Mic'Kahari Tatum, who threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
Colonial Heights now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Hopewell, their record is now an identical 2-3.
