Baseball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel managed to slip by High Point the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Laurel lost 15-3 to High Point on Monday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Laurel is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for High Point, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Laurel has already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Wise on the 26th. As for High Point, they will take on Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
