Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Concord was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ygnacio Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears came up short against the Miramonte Matadors on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Matadors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-8.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Miramonte, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Concord is set to square off against their familiar foe Clayton Valley Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Miramonte will challenge rival Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
