Basketball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Houston Mustangs 59-21. The Wolves were probably out for revenge after losing 76-28 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mckenzie Percoski continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Houston, going 9 of 10 on her way to 23 points and seven boards. The contest was Percoski's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caidyn Sanders, who went 5 for 7 en route to 13 points.

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Houston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will head out to face off against Southwind at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Houston, they will take on Collierville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Houston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.
