Basketball Recap: New Egypt Gets the Win

New Egypt posted their closest win since January 18th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Steinert Spartans, sneaking past 48-46. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 61-32 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.

The win got New Egypt back to even at 2-2. As for Steinert, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

New Egypt will have a chance to go back-to-back against Steinert: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
