Football Recap: Parker Reno Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gardendale + How To Watch

Mortimer Jordan's game on Friday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over the Gardendale Rockets. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mortimer Jordan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Reno out in front who rushed for 125 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Reno is becoming a predictor of the Blue Devils' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't). Kason Reno did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 95 receiving yards.

Mortimer Jordan's record now sits at 3-5. As for Gardendale, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
