Softball Recap: Hancock County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Hancock County's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Castle Knights on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Hancock County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Carnes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Hancock County and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Castle, their record is now 5-8.

Coming up, Hancock County will square off against Owensboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Castle, they will challenge Evansville Mater Dei at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
