North Salinas won the last time they faced Soledad and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings blew past the Aztecs 27-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Kai Ceralde threw for 117 yards and one touchdown on only seven passes. Canelo Gonzalez was his top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and one score.

North Salinas has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Soledad, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Salinas will welcome Salinas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Soledad, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monte Vista Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
