Soccer Recap: Coosa Christian Takes a Loss

Coosa Christian lost against Pennington back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Conquerors fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. Coosa Christian have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Rex Dodd, who's now up to six this season.

Coosa Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Pennington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1.

Coming up, Coosa Christian will head out to take on Bob Jones at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pennington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Bernard Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pennington are facing St. Bernard Prep at the right time seeing as St. Bernard Prep are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
