Softball Recap: Gallatin Has No Trouble Against Grace Christian Academy

Gallatin's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Grace Christian Academy Lions as the Gallatin Green Wave made off with an 18-3 win.

The team relied heavily on Lizzy Plunkett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Lilley, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Gallatin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grace Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .357.

Gallatin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Gallatin will take on Austin in a tournament on Monday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against The Webb School at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
