Preview: Wilmot/Waubay/Summit vs. Britton-Hecla
On Friday, Britton-Hecla is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Wilmot/Waubay/Summit at 7:00 PM.
Britton-Hecla took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Hamlin 34-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-0.
Meanwhile, Wilmot/Waubay/Summit had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they lost to Deuel by a decisive 6-26 margin. Wilmot/Waubay/Summit were down by 0-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Britton-Hecla's lifted them to 1-0 while Wilmot/Waubay/Summit's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Britton-Hecla can add another positive mark to their record or if Wilmot/Waubay/Summit can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Britton-Hecla's step.
