Recap: Armwood Hawks vs. Strawberry Crest Chargers        
        
		
            
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  you  nail five more threes than your opponent, a fact the Armwood Hawks proved  on Friday. They came out on top against Strawberry Crest by a score of  60-49. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Armwood.
 Armwood got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jayden  Dryden out in front who  scored 14 points along with 6  rebounds and 5  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Malakai Francis, who  scored 15 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Strawberry Crest still got an impressive performance from   Cameron Crowe, who  scored 15 points along with 6  rebounds. Crowe scored a full 30.6% of Strawberry Crest's points, the fifth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Jayson Lewis was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 3  steals.
 Armwood now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Strawberry Crest, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Armwood will head out on the road to face off against Bloomingdale at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Strawberry Crest, they will be playing at home against Hillsborough at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hillsborough knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Strawberry Crest likes a good challenge.
