Preview: A-Tech Panthers vs. Tilden Blue Devils
A-Tech has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Tilden Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (A-Tech is ranked 388th, while Tilden is ranked 377th).
A-Tech pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between A-Tech and Medgar Evers College Prep wasn't particularly close, with A-Tech falling 72-56. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for A-Tech in their matchups with Medgar Evers College Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tilden, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They were dealt a 93-37 defeat at the hands of Wingate on Tuesday.
A-Tech bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tilden, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
A-Tech came up short against Tilden when the teams last played back in December of 2019, falling 64-60. Can A-Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
