Basketball Recap: Owen County Takes a Loss

Owen County suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Grant County Braves, falling 53-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Owen County's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Grant County, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owen County will welcome Conner at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Conner will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Owen County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grant County, they will host Anderson County at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
