Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Meryn Deutsch, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Deutsch a new career-high in blocks (two). Aubree Adams was another key player, putting up three points along with six boards and three blocks.

Laney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Piper Conklin, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. Conklin continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Dixon, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
