Volleyball Recap: Deforest Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

DeForest can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Madison East Purgolders.

DeForest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-19.

DeForest's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Madison East, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. DeForest will take on Oconomowoc at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison East, they will challenge Fort Atkinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
