Volleyball Recap: Anahuac Comes Up Short

Anahuac lost against Orangefield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Avery Smith paced Anahuac's offense, picking up three kills. Smith got some help from Addi DeHoyos and her four assists.

Anahuac's defeat dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Orangefield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-18.

Anahuac has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against East Chambers on the 16th. As for Orangefield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Kountze on the 16th.
