Volleyball Recap: Pickerington North Picks Up 16th Straight Win at Home

Pickerington North put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Dublin Jerome Celtics 3-0. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Celtics walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

While Pickerington North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.

Jordan Dyer paced Pickerington North's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dyer got some help from Drew Vensko and his 22 assists. Dyer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Pickerington North's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Dublin Jerome, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Pickerington North will be playing at home against Beavercreek at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Dublin Jerome and Westerville Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Dublin Jerome their first taste of in-conference action this season.
