Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Paola Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Paola this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on April 7th.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Paola, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1.

Coming up, Washington will be playing in front of their home fans against Atchison on Monday. Paola has already played their next contest (against Turner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
